    Katie is the ideal candidate to project manage this expedition after completing the longest ever crossing of the Southern Patagonian Icecap by a woman back in 2009 with husband Tarka. Previous to 2009’s Rivers Of Ice expedition, Katie’s personal expeditions include; In 2006/2007 she completed a 4500km trek through the Taklimakan Desert and over the Qiling Mountain range to walk the entire length of the Great Wall of China. In 2008 a winter Expedition off the North/East coast of Spitsbergen. Later that year she took part in an Africa expedition consisting of an 8000km cycle on veteran African bicycles (no gears and no brakes) from Djibouti through Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland and South Africa. In 2009 she took part in the ‘Catlin Arctic Survey’ expedition to the high Arctic, living on a Floating Ice base carrying out polar research for 2 months. Temperatures reaching as low a -50C. Then later year she attempted the Rivers Of Ice expedition (Take 1).

    Sarah Fenwick

    Sarah is the team psychologist who will be looking after the mental well-being of the team. Sarah is a Chartered Psychologist specialising in sport psychology and leadership behaviours. Sarah will provide psychological support and carry out psychological evaluations pre, during and post the expedition. Sarah brings to the team an in-depth understanding of how we think and behave in challenging environments. Sarah is passionate about adventure sports and travel, having competed in paragliding at World Class level including three World Records and taken part in several expeditions.

    Hannah Vincent

    Hannah, company director and producer at Pangaea TV, will be working alongside Tarka and Katie-Jane (Primal Journey) in the production of the film Rivers of Ice. Pangaea is an award winning television and film production company based in the South West, with a portfolio of clients from leading Advertising Agencies to Warner Brothers. Pangaea and Primal Journey have worked together on previous productions, The Great Walk of China nominated for Media Innovation award 2009, as well as their most recent documentary film The African Way. Together, they also have several film proposals waiting for commission.
